The whisky is great, its high avc so definitely be generous adding water, but you'll be rewarded with lovely honey, caramel, orange, Heather, smoke/peat, Oakey nutmeg flavours. Smoke and peat are quite high for highland park as well, definitely up from the standard 12

Flavours which burst on your tongue
This Malt slowly erupts on your taste buds giving you a smooth yet vibrant flavour of sweet Sherry and an after taste of Oloroso, with a hint of oak.
Its dark colour gives it a warm feel. Personally I prefer it at room temperature without either water or ice.
