Tamdhu Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky is excited to introduce the second bottling in its Quercus Alba Distinction series. As the sole distillery in Scotland to exclusively mature all its single malt whisky in Oloroso sherry casks, Tamdhu passionately embraces this maturation style. Distinction II pays homage to American Oak Sherry casks, emphasizing the nuanced flavor profile they bestow as first-fill casks. The journey begins in North American oak forests, with the wood later transformed into casks in Spain's 'Sherry Triangle' over a meticulous six-year process.

Tasting Note by Tamdhu:
Nose: The welcoming warmth of malt, vanilla and spiced oak, then orange and mint.
Palate: Soft oak, damsons, dark chocolate – and a rich, luxurious mouthfeel.
Finish: Almost endless sherried oak, giving way to figs and golden syrup.
