This single smalt is aged for at least 12 years in the finest American and European oak sherry barrels before being mellowed in oak marrying tuns to get its sweet and delicate oak flavours. This 12 year old is a wonderful representation of Glenfiddich's unique Speyside style, with a lengthy, smooth, and mellow finish. It's commonly regarded as the best dram in the valley.
