    Description

Created for Fèis Ìle 2023, this cask strength Limited Edition whisky is Manzanilla sherry cask-finished, offering a warmly inviting dram with salt and spice notes.

Distilled on October 28, 1998, it initially matured in American Oak casks before finding its way into first-fill Manzanilla sherry casks on May 25, 2016.

Manzanilla sherry's coastal, salty, and nutty qualities align perfectly with our Bunnahabhain spirit. Bottled at cask strength for an intense flavor, this festival release maintains our tradition of no added color and non-chillfiltration.

    Tasting Note by Bunnahabhain:
Nose: Notes of freshly baked pastry with sweet almonds, rose petals, grapefruit and dried spices are balanced with a touch of
    mahogany and incense.
Palate: Coastal influence of seaweed and fresh sea air are met with raisins and dates and intertwined with creamy fudge, waxed red apples and a warm sweet spice reminiscent of star anise.
Finish: Spicy and aromatic with caramelised walnuts; the star anise fades to reveal lemon peel and pears with a lingering note of sea salt.
