The SC: 01 2012 vintage was exclusively conceived, cultivated, distilled, aged, and bottled on Islay. Showcasing the unique Islay terroir, this locally-sourced barley is enriched with a detailed cask formulation.
The barley is malted to a peat level of 40ppm by maltsters on the Scottish mainland. Afterward, it's brought back to Islay for distillation.
