    Description

    Upon taking ownership of GlenAllachie, their Master Distiller Billy Walker wasted no time leaving his imprint on the whisky. He chose to use Scottish barley, implemented a 160-hour fermentation, and oversaw a deliberate, slow distillation process.

    Leveraging his five decades of blending expertise, Billy's true mastery shines in the distillery's warehouses. Overseeing operations across 16 warehouses, some housing casks dating back to the 1970s, Billy meticulously handpicked a limited number of casks for the launch of GlenAllachie 18yo. This expression encapsulates the hallmark GlenAllachie character, known for its richness and robustness, coupled with delicate notes of heather and butterscotch.

    The GlenAllachie 18 Year Old is presented at 46% alcohol by volume, remains unfiltered for chill, and retains its natural color.

    Tasting Note by GlenAllachie:
    Nose: Layers of heather honey, toffee and muscovado sugar, with dark chocolate, caramel and dried sultanas.
    Palate: Bursting with fruit cake, butterscotch and wild Scottish honey, followed by layers of blackcurrant, almonds and soft oak spice on the finish.
