    A nice example of a Speyside whisky but with a little sherry to add depth. Glenfarclas 12yo is also subtle in favour but has a richness I was not expecting. This is a really good example of a single malt that new comers to the world of whisky and those who usually drink the more powerful tasting Islay could enjoy.

    a breath of fresh air

    came across glenfarclad on a internet search for something a little different from the usual whiskey available in the local stores. as soon as it came and I tasted it I knew it was something special. I started with the 10yr first but the 12yr is perfect. really recommended.
