Deanston 2002 17 Year Old Organic Pedro Ximenez Finish
A lovely limited edition sweet single malt made from organically sourced barley. It consists of the beautiful tastes of candied peels, caramel, maple syrup and sherried raisins which develops into a honeyed cashew flavour which lingers on the tongue.
Tasting Note by Deanston
Nose: Very dry, slightly sulphury notes roll back to reveal sweet dried fruits, raisins and dates.
Palate: Sweet caramel, mouth coating maple syrup, mixed candied peel and sherry soaked raisins.
Finish: Long sweet finish, fading to honeyed cashews.
