For 25 years, a select group of barrels has been concealed within Ardbeg's distillery on Islay, Scotland. In 2021, this whisky experiment, aged for a quarter-century, will be unveiled. Remarkably, even after such extensive aging, the characteristic smokiness and peat of Ardbeg remain dominant. With time, this whisky, aged in exceptionally rare casks, has evolved into a beverage with intricate flavors, inviting connoisseurs to discover its depths.

Nose: Smoked cream, peppermint and toffee, with Ardbeg’s classic fennel and pine resin on the nose. Distant earthy bonfires mix with herbal and fruity notes, along with candle wax.
Palate: A complex palate of hot pepper, lemon sherbet, tar, aniseed, cream and fudge.
